I have no doubt that James Parker and Dominic Rice would have gone on to score half-centuries each but they gallantly retired after 10 overs to allow others a chance to bat. 130 was an excellent total considering the accurate bowling of Witham's young side.

EAG have, so far this season been the most athletic and committed fielding side in the league and I have been delighted with the skills and effort displayed in the field. The bowling was good but should have been much straighter.
