Elmstead 53 all out from 17.3 overs. EAG 54 for 4 from 9.3 overs. A great start for the team in many different aspects of the game. All of the boys bowled well, all bowling was very accurate and with really tight fielding we had 4 maidens in a row in the middle of the Elmstead innings. Congratluations to Matt Dunlop who ended with figures of 3 for 3 from 3 overs.
We then went into bat in confident mood as we all felt that the Elmstead total was not going to be enoungh. We came through comforatbly in the end after loosing a couple of quick wickets but only used 6 batsmen with Isaac top scoring on 21 not out.
Well done to everyone for a good all round performance.
