Match report Eight Ash Green U11 Zone 5 celebrated a revenge win against Sudbury on the 13th July 2008. After Sudbury won the toss and elected to bat first, Eight Ash Green kept the run rate low with some great fielding including 4 wickets from Dominic Blanchard and 2 wickets each from Josh Chapman and Matthew Wadling, plus some excellent wicket keeping by James Parker. Sudbury finished with a score of 201 to defend.

The Green’s batting started slowly until our final pair of Josh Chapman and James Parker brought us to victory with a score of 235. The whole team contributed to an exciting match and a superb finish to our season. Dom B.
