Match report On a wet and gloomy night at Halstead, a maiden 50 from Stephen Nunn was not quite enough to beat a good Halstead team. The Green struggled to 89 all out, largely by missing straight ones and hitting wide ones at catching height to grateful fielders. The innings of Karthik Chandrasekharan was short short that the Halstead scorer complained that Karthik had been in and out before he had even finished writing his name in the score book.

The Green looked much better in the field. We bowled tightly and fielded well, but in the end could not defend our own low total. Halstead won by 4 wickets with 3 overs in hand.
