Match report Potentially one big bannana skin for the Green was avoided by one big..., it was a terrific opening 10 overs by Jim Crafford, bowling with pace and accurate enough to bowl 4 and trap one lbw in his 5 wicket return, and well supported by Ric Olejnik at the other end, together they ensured that the Real Oddies challenge was effectively over at 20 overs. Experience and youth then combined, Keith Steel and Georigo D'Anna, (complete with Brett Lee celebration) shared the remaining 4 wickets as the Real Oddies made just 33 in 28 overs, all ten wickets were all either lbw or bowled. Therefore we could only marvel at the ground fielding rather than catching of Lord Lucan, correction Colin Steel. Faced with a tempting 63 overs to get the runs, at least Marsy got on with it and the match was won in 11th over by 10 wickets. A trip to Great Totham awaits in the next round.
