Match report Good win for the 2's, after restricting Mersea to 135, thanks to good opening overs from Callum and Jon, then some good slow bowling from Matt Murray and Tony Lee, Nick chipped in at the end with a wicket from the first ball of his spell. Tom Lee got the reply off to a good start with a mixture of watchful defence and some good attacking shots, the opening partnership reaching 53 before he was out for 32, his highest senior score. After losing a couple more wickets Matt Murray (20*) and the skipper (52*) saw the Green home by 7 wickets with an unbroken partnership of 50.
