Match report After a good start to the season last week the Sunday XI came down to earth with a heavy defeat at Witham.
Batting first the home side made 173 all out, with star batsman Kaan Hawes making 73 supported by Goodwin and Glynn making 26 and 22 respectively. The stand out performance for the Green came from Richard Nunn who took 6 for 15, including a hat trick.
In reply the Green were blown away by the bowling of Bellehewe and Sambrook as they limped to 80 all out with only Jack Smith and Paul Marston making the only significant contribution.
