Match report We won the toss & elected to bat but unfortunately for the 3rd match in a row we lost our 1st wicket in the 1st over of the innings. 15 overs later we lost the 2nd wicket at 145 with Ollie Lovejoy out for a monumental 103, remarkably his first ever but I am sure not his last. James Parry was 3rd out at 157 for 3 scoring a very good 41.Dom Purser & Alex Johnson both batted well at the end of the innings to get us up to 198 for 3 after 20 overs.10 an over will be a difficult chase.
Abberton made a measured response but once their first wicket fell in the 6th over with the score on 23 they never recovered & finished on 65 for 6 after 20 overs. EAG used 10 bowlers with Eddie O'Donnell being the most successful with 2 for 7 off 2 overs.
In the end this match was a one sided as the figures show.
