Match report This was an excellent start to the season for the under 12s. Alex Johnson skippered the side well, winning the toss choosing to bat first and then hitting an assured 56 runs as an opening bat as a debutant for the Green. Dom Purser, supported well at 3 scoring an unbeaten 40. The target of 116 always looked hard to reach when wickets started to tumble in the 5th over. The bowling and fielding put pressure on Coggeshall from here on in and they were eventually skittled out for less than 50. A great team effort in the field backed up the great start with the bat.
