Match report Halstead won the toss & asked EAG to bat.

Eddie O'Donnell & Josh Chapman had an opening stand of 69 in 11 overs, we finished on 114 for 4 after 20 overs. Josh scored 54, Eddie 26 & Jonathan Purser 14. Although we had 3 run outs our running between the wickets was a great improvement on previous matches, highlighted by us scoring 49 singles.

Halstead started badly loosing their first wicket on the first ball of over 2. Scoring was difficult from the start as we bowled better than in previous matches, however still too many wides & no balls. Best figures by Dominic Purser with 2 wickets for 9 runs. We dropped a number of catches which luckily did not cause too many problems. Only one Halstead batsman scored freely with a quick fire 30. After 20 overs Halstead made 80 for 7 wickets.

A well deserved win, all can be proud of their performances & I was pleased with the encouragement offered whilst we bowled.
