Match report EAG won the toss & elected to bat first. Steady batting throughout the innings by most batsmen got the score to 110 for 8 off our 20 overs. Top score was Ollie Lovejoy with 20 bur all those who batted should be proud of their efforts.

Witham lost a wicket in the first over, were 3 out within the first 5 overs & never quite managed to keep up with the scoring rate required. They were all out in the 19th over for 86. The bowlers performed well with at least 1 wicket each plus a great run out from a direct hit from Jonathan Purser. Best bowling figures were from Daniel Rice & Jonathan Purser with 2 wickets each. The fielding was of a relatively high standard & it was good to hear lots of encouraging remarks from all fieldsmen.
