Match report EAG won the toss & elected to bat first. Although the 1st over was a maiden, the 2nd went for 16, we were 50 in the 7th & finished 141 for 8 after our 20 overs. Ollie Lovejoy opened in his first game for the club & scored a quick fire 43, out in the 8th over with the score on 60 for 2. Jonathan Purser continued in the same vein to finish 56 not out. We suffered 3 run outs to direct hits, 2 off no balls whilst trying to keep up our desired run rate. Backing up was very good, we scored 26 singles & 7 twos.

Mistley started badly loosing their 1st wicket off the 1st ball of the 1st over.
This continued & they were all out for 74 in the 18 over. The bowling was generally straight with 6 batsmen bowled & Mistley only scoring 4 boundaries. Jonathan Purser, Jamie Murray & Ben Parker took 2 wickets each.

EAG won by 67 runs. Congratulations to all players for a job well done.
