It was with great sadness that EAGCC has learned of the death of Bill Smith, a regular player throughout the 1970s.  Bill opened the bowling with David Cannon, where his gentle medium-pace swing proved very deceptive.  

Bill's funeral is on Thursday November 3rd at 3.30 at Weeley crematorium.  The wake is being held at the Black Boy, Weeley.  Anyone from the club who knew Bill is very welcome to attend.
