The 1's Just Miss Out

A sodden day in Stonham means the 1's just miss out on being crowned champions by 4 points! A jug avoiding 4 wickets from Andrew Woodhouse wasn't enough to bowl out Earl Stonham. James Parker in reply cracked the ball around left,right and cow. By then the opposition had seen enough and realised we would've easily chased their total. However, still going up compared to last year where we scrapped for survival cracking stuff!

2's Finish Strong

A solid performance from the 2's against local rivals Boxted was a perfect end to a good season. Everyone chipped in with 3 wickets for Ed & Tony and with the bat Tom Lee top scored with 38. A brace for Boxted's worse nightmare Troy Collins also helped. Richard Polley's Season's Summary to follow shortly.

Sunday 1's Don't Get the Double

After a tough season the NECL 1st XI finish with a loss against Great Horksley & Lexden. Richard Nunn & Jens Wair with 3 wickets and a 40* from Will Spicer the star performers. Will running out of partners but a lovely moment of batting with Spicerack Senior Neil in the last wicket partnership of the season. Thanks must go to all who played this year and especially El Presidente for his BBQ's that went down a storm with the opposition!
