Match report Eight Ash Green won the toss and elected to bat on another very hot day. Tom Lee was out to last ball of the 1st over, but then Will Spicer and Ethan Wyatt put on 100 for the 2nd wicket before Will Spicer was bowled for 63. Ethan Wyatt went on to record his career best score of 96, with his last four balls faced being 6,4,6 and then caught. Nitya Patel 30 not out and Luke Coppin 17 not out, both made their personal best scores in an unbroken 44 run partnership for the 9th wicket, which meant we posted a total of 286-8 off 40 overs.

Great Totham were consistently above the run rate, with James Pook scoring the winning runs to finish on 98 not out.

As usual team included 7 teenagers, but all the team stuck together and the youngsters are very resilient. All of them having fun playing net cricket during the tea interval, with Luke Coppin also joining in with them.
