Match report The last match of the year was played at home in glorious sunshine. Gt Bromley won the toss & asked EAG to bat. An opening partnership of 43 got us off to a good start & some tight bowling from Gt Bromley restricted us to 119 for 3, Ollie Lovejoy top scoring on 55no.
Gt Bromley started slowly & after 6 overs were 12 for 1, EAG at the same time were 43 for 0.However a good 49 from B.Mann & 23 from E.Mann got them up to 100 for 5 after 20 overs. Although we bowled well some of the fielding was poor. Lovejoy took 2 catches & a stumping, wickets were shared between 5 bowlers.
A close finish but another well deserved win.
This team played well all season & deserved to be undefeated.
