The Club’s full COVID risk assessment can be found here. It has been updated now that we are at ECB Step 4. The main points are summarised below.
- If you or anyone in your household has any COVID symptoms please do not come – contact the NHS and get tested
- On arrival use sanitiser
- Scan the NHS Test & Trace QR code on your phone
- Come changed if possible (changing rooms may be used with maximum occupancy of six)
- Bring your own tea and drink (plus water)
- No spit or sweat on the ball
- Minimal throwing round the field to get the ball back to the bowler
- 2m distance at all times (including wicket celebrations)
- Car-sharing to or from a game has been allowed since Step 3, but is best avoided whenever possible
Please note that we play on public land in view of members of the public – we must be seen to follow our own guidelines.
We welcome visiting teams to our ground. Win or lose, we hope you have a safe and enjoyable game of cricket.
