Match report The 2nd XI travelled to North Springfield and lost a high scoring match by 9 wickets. The highlight for the Green was an outstanding maiden century for Josh Lennard-Jones who batted throughout the entire innings to make an unbeaten 116. Josh made over half of the total of 209 for 5, with the next highest score off the bat being Colin Hammond with 21.

The Springfield openers made the Green's bowlers toil, as they put on 118 for the first wicket. Any relief at making the breakthrough was soon dispelled as the 15 year old Freddie Clark raced to an unbeaten 67 in quick time, including 4 sixes, to see Springfield past the Green's total in the 38th over.

However the match will be remembered for Josh's superb innings, well done Josh.
