Match report The under 13s unbeaten record, came to an end at Frinton tonight, where they lost by 3 wickets.

The Green lost the toss and were asked to bat first for the first time this season. Unfortunately we put in a disappointing batting performance, to be bowled out for 65. 26 extras was the top score as Frinton bowled 20 wides. The only batsman to make double figures was Richard who made an unbeaten 24 and batted patiently while wickets regularly at the other end. The next highest score was 6 by Sam, who was unlucky to be run out after a misunderstanding with the skipper.

In contrast, the bowling and fielding was up to it's usual high standard. All bowlers bowled well, with wickets being shared between Jake 2 and 1 each for Josh, Isaac and Richard. There were also 2 run outs.

A better batting display will be required if we are to end the league season with a win at Dedham on Sunday.
