Match report On a day when the Green fielded more Nunns than appeared in the Sound of Music, they hoped for a better outcome having posted a total 190 having been put into bat a good wicket at Haverhill. An opening stand of 108 from openers Richard Polley and Nippy laid a good base for the innings, wickets fell regularly after their dismissals and total was boosted by Ali Maitland whose 42 not out was achieved in rapid time. Unfortunately The Green didnt make Haverhill work hard enough for their runs and their batsman punished anything short or wide. Ali Hammond took 3 wickets but Haverhill overhauled the Green for the loss of 4 wickets. Back to the Nunns, Barry stepping in at the last minute took a good catch as the ball was drilled into his windpipe, Stephen and Richard made some fine stops, with Richard having the added bonus of taking his first senior wicket.
