Maldon II v Eight Ash Green Cricket Club Two Counties 1st XI (Saturday) on Sat 21 Apr 2018 at 12:30
Eight Ash Green Cricket Club Won by 53 runs

Match report Can’t say much about the match as I wasn’t there, but Porky started the season with an excellent half century, although we slumped from 153-3 to 200-9 in the chase from for runs towards the end of the innings.
In reply Maldon II lost wickets regularly with Oli Firmin the star performer nabbing a 4-for, while opening partner Mark Goodall took 3 of his own.
Excellent win chaps, a positive start to the season helps breed confidence that we well and truly belong at this level.
