Match report The Green lost at Braintree by 6 wickets. Batting first the Green were again disappointing with the bat, in fact when the 7th wicket fell with the score on 45, it looked as though we were going to be home early, however Sam Pace (26no) and Jake Egner (13) batted extremely well to put 32 for the 8th wicket to make the score respectable,as the innings closed at 89 for 9.

At the start of the Braintree innings Richard took two early wickets to briefly raised hopes of an unlikely victory, however the Braintree batsmen didn't panic and batted sensibly to reach the target of 90 in 17 over for the loss of 4 wickets. Sam Pace and Matt Johnson took the other wickets for the Green.
