Match report Jonathan Purser won the toss and decided to bat on a very grey and wet night. We fielded only 10 players as holidays took their toll on numbers.

We batted well to score 165 for 4 wickets off 20 overs. Harrison Staines top scored with a patient 45 batting through the innings only to be stumped off the last ball attempted to hit a six which would have brought up a well deserved 50. Dominic Purser scored 33 not out, his best innings of the season. Jonathan Purser scored a very rapid 30 but got himself out unnecessarily as he could have made a very large score given the form he was in.

Witham started their run chase well but with the regular loss of wickets & always being behind the run rate they eventually finished on 132 for 8 after their 20 overs. Jordon Barnett and Thomas Potter took good catches; Charlie Cresswell kept very well despite constant drizzle and very dark conditions. Everyone had a bowl, best figures by Dominic Purser with 2 for 16.

EAG won by 33 runs.
