Match report The 2nd XI suffered their second abandonment in as many weeks, as the rain became too heavy to carry on after 26 overs of the second innings.

The Green batted first and found themselves in a bit of trouble at 83-6 with Kevin having made 36 of the runs. However Chris, playing his first game of the season, came to the rescue making 83, Sharing good partnerships with Nick and brother Ally he guided the Green to a very competitive 190 for 9.

When Cavaliers batted Alex made an early breakthrough taking a very good c&b, while Jens and Nick also took a wicket each, Unfortunately the match had been played in light rain for some time before a much heavier down pour led to the game being abandoned with the match evenly poised.
