1’s Comfortably beat Coggeshall 

A good team performance helped secure 3rd place for the 1’s this year with a game to spare. A well-timed batting performance from Ollie Stovell helped the Green get to a total of 246 off their 45 overs. Ollie scored 76 runs and was ably supported by jug avoiders Will Spicer (44) & Alex Hammond (49). The Green bowled well with Joe Young the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for only 18 runs. Because of that Joe & Ollie picked up Colchester Brewery Men of the Match! The 1’s play their last game of the season at home against Elmstead.

Quiz Night Success

The annual quiz night was a huge success with a great turnout! A big thanks must go Simon Lovejoy for organising and running the quiz on the night. Congratulations to “Serena’s Swimmers” who won the quiz and a selection of beers from behind the bar! We will of course be doing the same next year in the heat of summer!

Awards Night & Dinner Dance CONFIRMED

We are happy to announce we have confirmed the 13th of October at Birch Grove Golf Club for our end of season awards and Dinner Dance! An email will be sent out by next week asking for your attendance and if you wish to bring any guests.
