A 1 Run Victory & 1 Wicket Loss

Firsts Beat Felixstowe.. Just

An incredible game on Saturday saw the green take 20 points just against Felixstowe! A mammoth match with 497 runs and 15 wickets resulting in the Green winning by 1 run! Stuart Hammond received the Colchester Brewery Man of the Match for his half-century & crucial 2 wickets but could’ve been any other player! A great game in front of a good crowd enjoyed with a BBQ & Beer Festival after. The 1’s now go to Halstead to continue their winning form. Also speedy recovery to Joe Young who has partially torn his ACL, let's hope there is a spare one hanging around in his bag!

2’s lose to Earls Colne.. Just

Another close game up the road at Earls Colne however the Green were sadly on the losing end. The Green began well with the top 5 all getting into double figures. However, none of the other batsmen could and a score of 176 was set. An excellent bit of bowling from Calum McDonald saw him avoid the jug (4-21 off 10) and keep the Green in the game. However, with 9 wickets down Earls Colne reached the total with 11 balls to spare! They now face locals Boxted at home, good luck to them!

Women Search for the Win
